  1. All entries must be tagged and in the hall by 9:00pm on Thursday, September 13th, 2018.
  2. Other tips for exhibitors:
    • Tomatoes must have calyx left on.
    • Small vegetables to be shown on disposable plate.
    • Vegetables should be uniform in size and shape.
    • Root crop tops trimmed to ½” above crown.
    • Potatoes brushed clean – not washed.
    • Onions cleaned – not peeled.

Prize Sections 1-24:  1st $5; 2nd $4; 3rd $3

  1. Beans – 5 green and 5 yellow
  2. Beets – 3 table
  3. Carrots – 5
  4. Parsnips – 3
  5. Cucumbers – Slicing – 3
  6. Onions – Spanish – 3
  7. Onions – any other variety – 5
  8. Peppers – Sweet – 3
  9. Peppers – Jalapeno – 5
  10. Potatoes – named – 5
  11. Tomatoes – any table variety – 3
  12. Dill – 3 stalks displayed in a jar with some water
  13. Tomatoes – Cherry – 3 bunches attached to vine
  14. Pumpkin – 1 decorated with natural or artificial material (no carving)
  15. Squash – Pepper – 2
  16. Squash – Buttercup – 2
  17. Squash – Sweet Dumpling – 2
  18. Cabbage – Green – 1
  19. Cabbage – Red – 1
  20. Sunflower – Largest head – 1
  21. Garlic – Any variety – 3 bulbs
  22. Ornamental Corn – 3 husked back and tied for hanging
  23. “Largest and Smallest Vegetable from my Garden” – 1 of each
  24. Collection of three (3) or more potted herbs. Any variety in a contained suitable for a deck or patio.
